I absolutely LOVE bento boxes, and enjoy making them for myself and for my children on occasion. Here are some of my absolute favorite Hello Kitty Bento Boxes I’ve found on the web. Hopefully some of these will give you a little inspiration if you’re new to the bento world. I will warn you, it’s a pretty addicting hobby.
This adorable Hello Kitty Bento lunch even comes in a Hello Kitty shaped bento box. I would LOVE to find one like this. This bento I found from a curator at FemTalks would be perfect for fellow vegetarians to recreate at home. Not many special dscutters are needed either.
I absolutely LOVE how simple and delicious this Hello Kitty rice ball looks! her little nose is made out of corn too! How cute! I saw this bento featured on KittyHell.com but the original owner of this image has disabled their website so unfortunately I can’t direct you to the proper materials needed to recreate this bento lunch. However, it looks pretty approachable!
This is another bento image that’s been swimming around the internet. The pins I’ve seen say her little bear is made out of brown rice, but It’s actually just soy sauce! ^_^ Bento can be pretty time investing as it is, so no need to worry about making two types of rice haha!
This is probably the most popular and elaborate Hello Kitty bentos on the internet. I’ve seen this YEARS ago and to this day it’s still a top find in the search engine. I have no idea who the original creator is. If anyone knows, please direct me to them so I can back link. I’m always willing to do that for other content creators as it’s the right thing to do in my opinion.
Two more extremely adorable Hello Kitty bento lunches. I LOVE the candy shaped wontons. Such a cute idea!
I should curate a post dedicated to more simple Hello Kitty bentos like this one! These types of bento are a perfect introduction into creating bento lunches. Sushi rice is very easy to work with as long as you have a small bowl of water near you, so shaping Hello Kitty’s head won’t be a problem. Finding little bows instead of making them is an option too.
This Hello Kitty Sakura Bento is really simple but very pretty and unique! I wish I knew who created this. All I kept finding were back-links to random bento web stores but this was worth the mention and I think it’s a really pretty idea.
I hope you enjoyed a little Hello Kitty Bento inspiration! I know there are a TON or bento recipes out there dedicated to her and I’ll be sure to add more in the future! Especially holiday and themed ones! 🙂
